Clifford Bay is a bay in the northeast of the South Island of New Zealand, in the Marlborough Region. It lies between Cloudy Bay to the northwest, and Cape Campbell. This area is known for it’s wine region as well as beautiful coastline. Over the past 15 years there have been proposals to convert this area into a new port to connect the North and South Island of New Zealand. However, these proposals have been regularly rejected and has been simply left to be the beautiful beach that it is.
